Kaindi: Increase Border Surveillance

Speaking in Mombasa during a regional security meeting, Kaindi said that police have been deployed in the area to contain the situation after Sunday's clashes left several people injured and hundreds displaced.

At the same time Kaindi has called for increased surveilance across the borders of all regional countries as a measure to counter terrorism.

Police commanders and heads of criminal investigations from 17 countries are attending the one week long meeting where they are expected to share vital information on terrorists, drug dealers and poachers.
