Kakamega man kills father over piece of ugali

An 80-year-old grandfather was killed on Thursday after his son allegedly struck him with a Jembe (hoe) over food.

Shinyalu District Officer Mofat Moseti said Jamen Mulama was killed by his son Musa Luvowa, 39 years with a jembe at his home in Senyende village, Muranda location, Shinyalu Constituency in Kakamega County.

Moseti said trouble started when the two got into an argument over a piece of ugali and quickly turned ugly before Luvowa allegedly took a jembe and struck him killing him on the spot.
