Kalonzo: Embrace Interethnic Marriage to End Tribalism

Speaking during a wedding ceremony at PCEA St Andrew in Nairobi, Kalonzo urged Kenyans to root for one nation devoid of negative energy, and forge for a united country.

He said there is wide spread tribalism in Kenyan institutions which have dragged development.

“Negative ethnicity and tribalism has dragged the development agenda in the country and taken us back to the dark days,” he said.

The Wiper Movement leader further stated that interethnic marriages will bring forth a new generation of Kenyans who do not align to any tribal affiliation, thus promoting national unity.
