Kalonzo speaks on his wife’s health condition

Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has dismissed reports claiming that his wife, Pauline Kalonzo, who has been unwell, had passed on.

Speaking to Mbaitu FM on Wednesday morning from Germany, Kalonzo said his wife is still unwell and receiving treatment abroad.

On Tuesday (November 14, 2017), a group of opposition-affiliated politicians visited Kalonzo in Germany, where he has been for the last month as his wife receives specialised treatment.

The leaders included National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Moses Wetangula and governors Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) and Josphat Nanok (Turkana).

Kalonzo left the country on October 11, and the visit by the NASA leaders in Germany came as the first public confirmation on his whereabouts.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr condemned the rumours on Pauline Kalonzo saying: “Those circulating rumors of the well being of Pauline Musyoka should stop. She is well and we should all pray for her quick recovery.”
