Kalonzo takes Wiper party to the UK

Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka over the weekend launched the Wiper Democratic Movement, United Kingdom Chapter, in Birmingham.

Kalonzo congratulated the organisers of the event saying it was encouraging to see the increasing participation of the diaspora fraternity in Kenyan politics.

Interim Chairman Patrick Kiilu told the Kenyan Wiper delegation that the UK Chapter had lined up different initiatives that would change the political culture of impunity and corruption in Kenya as well as bring Wiper Party into the international landscape.

In his address, party leader Kalonzo Musyoka said he was also actively engaged in reaching out to like-minded political parties and leaders to build national political alliances for the future.

“Kenya is at crossroads and requires the participation of all of us to curb corruption and to bring down the spiraling national debt,” said Musyoka.

He revealed the ongoing negotiations with a UK national political party set to see youth from Kenya visiting the UK to receive training and placement opportunities as well as be exposed to first-hand experience on running issue-based campaign in Kenya.

Kalonzo was flanked by Makueni County Woman Representative Rose Mumo Museo as well as his son Kennedy Musyoka Kalonzo, who is also a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
