Kambi Retires Atwoli, Mugo From NSSF Board

Kambi says Atwoli has served in the NSSF trustee board for 15 years and Mugo 11, which he says is contrary to the new NSSF act, that sets a maximum of two, three-year terms each.

Addressing the media at his office, the labor CS says the move is aimed at bringing new blood into the board, in compliance with the new NSSF law, which came into effect on the 10th of February this year.

Kambi adds he will write to COTU and FKE, to nominate new representatives, amid recent rows between Kambi and Atwoli, over scandalous deals, entered by the social security fund.
