Kanze Dena now takes over as PSCU boss
Kanze Dena is the new State House Spokesperson in acting capacity, after her boss Manoah Esipisu was nominated as an ambassador.
The promotion comes just a month after she was named Deputy State House Spokesperson.
“The acting State House Spokesperson is Kanze Dena,” a tweet from the Presidential Strategic Service Unit (PSCU) reads.
Announcing the change on Friday, Kanze Dena said Esipisu and the four other nominees for ambassadorial posts will be vetted by Parliament.
Kanze Dena previously worked at Royal Media Services as a news anchor on Citizen TV.
Before that, she had worked at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.
On Friday, Kenyans took to social media to congratulate Kanze Dena on the new position.
"Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence". Congrats @KanzeDena for heading PSCU
