Kaparo visits volatile Kisumu-Nandi border

Security has been beefed up along the Kisumu-Nandi border after two days clashes that have left at least two people dead and hundreds of livestock missing.

Armed police officers were seen on Wednesday patrolling the border of the two affected counties to ensure sanity prevailed.

The Chairman of National Commission on Integration and Cohesion (NCIC) Francis Ole Kaparo also visited the area to assess the situation as the commission seeks a lasting solution to the clashes.

The Kenya Redcross Society has started donating food stuff to the affected people.
