KCPE 2019: Results of secondary school selection out on Dec 2

The selection of secondary schools for KCPE 2019 candidates has kicked off.

A team from the Ministries of Education as well as Information and Communication (ICT) are in Naivasha for the month-long process.

They are mandated to place candidates, whose results were announced on Monday, depending on performance and capacity of the various schools.

According to Education CS George Magoha, the results of the process will be announced on December 2, 2019.

The team will begin with National and County selection followed by lower schools.

1,083,456 candidates sat for the KCPE2019  examinations, out of which 543,000 were boys and 539,874  girls.

A total of 181,016 contracted professionals were involved in the administration of the 2019 KCPE examination.

They include 27,809 centre managers; 28,014 supervisors; 66,807 invigilators; 58,060 security officers; 2,800 examination management directors; 479 clerks and 6,987 drivers.
