KDF recruitment enters day two as brown teeth knock out candidates

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) recruitment exercise entered day two Tuesday, September 20 even as hundreds of youths trooped the recruitment centres to try their luck.

The recruitment exercise is characterised by thorough exercise and examination to ensure perfect health of the contestants.

This even as hundreds of youths in Embu seeking to join KDF were disqualified for having dental problems associated with chewing of Miraa.

KDF recruiting officer for Embu and Kitui counties Lt. Col. Patrick Mwashube said that majority of youth are having dental issues.

Mwashube also expressed concern by the low turn out in the two areas.

He assured those seeking recruitment that the process will be free and fair.
