KDF Strikes Al Shabaab Base, 60 Militants Killed

According to KDF Spokesperson, Bogita Ongeri, many other militants were wounded in the airstrikes.

Five vehicles which had weapons were also destroyed in the operation, a statement by the spokesperson states.

KDF soldiers are currently pursuing the injured militants who reportedly fled to Jilib town, Middle Jubba Region.

The incident occurs barely a month after U.S. airstrikes targeted and killed Al Shabaab’s leader, Ahmed Abdi Godane.
