Section of Thika Superhighway to be closed for 5 days – KeNHA

A section of the Thika Superhighway will be closed for 5 days from Friday, the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced.

The closure at the Garden City Mall will begin from August 21-25.

It is scheduled to start at 9.00pm until 4.30am to allow for the erection of a footbridge.

Motorists have been advised to use exit 8 at Kasarani, follow the Babadogo road and join Thika Road via the Outering road.

Those headed to Thika will be diverted to use the alternative routes behind Mountain Mall.

KeNHA has asked motorists to exercise caution around the work areas and adhere to the traffic directions given my traffic marshals.

Earlier this month, the section of Thika Road was closed at at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies.

The closure was also to allow the erection a footbridge whose construction had been ongoing for several months.
