Kenya shilling under pressure from US dollar
The Kenyan shilling today remained under pressure to the U.S. Dollar as end month demand for Dollars by importers builds up.
According to the Central Bank of Kenya, the shilling is now exchanging at an indicative rate of 98.35 buying, 98.53 selling to the Dollar.
Against the Euro, the home unit is trading at 110.23 buying, 110.45 selling while exchanging at 154.32 buying, 154.63 selling to the Sterling Pound.
Against its regional counterparts, the shilling is exchanging at 7.42 buying, 7.51 selling to The Rwandese Franc, 23.64 buying, 23.79 selling to the Tanzanian shilling and at 33.43 buying, 33.60 selling to the Ugandan shilling.
