Kenya takes fight from the ICC to Assembly of State Parties

The government is fine tuning preparations ahead of a crucial meeting of member states of the Rome statute that could have far reaching implications in the case against Deputy President William Ruto.

During the meeting to be held at The Hague from Wednesday this week the government will be lobbying to have a decision to include recanted evidence overturned.

As Hussein Mohammed reports the government also wants an audit of the procedures used to gather and identify prosecution witnesses.
