Kenya, Tanzania working together to apprehend terror suspects
Kenya is working with Tanzanian authorities to apprehend terror suspects on the police watch list who are reported to have fled to Tanga to evade arrest.
Director of Criminal Investigations Ndegwa Muhoro has said the government is also working to apprehend similar suspects who cross over to Kenya from Tanzania.
Muhoro was speaking in Msambweni, Kwale County, where he also revealed police have arrested eight terror suspects in a forest in Mbita, Kinango area, since Monday.
The CID boss has linked the suspects to recent murder of community leaders in Diani, even as he urged youth who have joined terror groups to voluntarily surrender to police in exchange for amnesty.
