Kenya, TZ sign three MoU’s as part of improving relations
Kenya and Tanzania have signed three memoranda of understanding that will see the two countries strengthen and enhance co-operation between them.
The deals were signed as Kenya’s Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo hosted her Tanzanian counterpart Ambassador Libe-rata Mula-mula for a Joint Commission for Cooperation.
The two East African nations will strengthen cooperation in political consolation, higher education and demarcation of international boundary.
The deliberations come following directives arrived at during President Samia Suluhu’s visit to Kenya in May this year.
”I am pleased we are able to move forward with the 3 MOUs we have signed today,” Rachel Omamo, CS, Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday “Our hope is that the technical teams will receive the impetus to finish this important work,”
Liberata Mulamula, the Foreign Affairs Minister, Tanzania said the agreements signed on political relations, higher education science and technology, will lead to stability and prosperity.
