Kenyans respond to President Uhurus Mashujaa day address

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday led Kenyans in marking the 52nd Mashujaa Day celebrations (previously Kenyatta Day) at Nyayo stadium.

During the colorful celebrations, the Head of State called on citizens to emulate the Mashujaas liberating the country from the obstacles that have derailed national development.

“Kenya must face these challenges gallantly the way our forefathers faced the colonial masters to liberate our motherland. We must with one resolve say No to vices that would derail us from the path of progress and prosperity,” said the head of State.

Citing graft, radicalization, illicit brew, poaching and divisive politics as some of the challenges facing the nation, President Uhuru called on all Kenyans to be the heroes that Kenyans need.

But how did Kenyans on social media respond to his speech?
