Kenyatta In Addis Ababa For The AU Summit

Top agenda in this 24th meeting is the International Criminal Court (I.C.C) and Ebola crisis in West-Africa.

Kenya is among the countries pushing for a major overhaul of the Rome statute in a bid to recognize African social and political realities.

Accompanyng the President is First lady Margaret Kenyatta who is also expected to attend the organization of African first ladies against AIDS, general assembly, on side-lines of the summit.

Kenyatta will attend the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) on arrival.

On IGAD’s meeting, Uhuru is expected to discuss resolving conflict in South-Sudan and later meet U.N secretary general Banki Moon among other leaders.
