President Kenyatta received the envoys from Ukraine, Zambia, Mexico, Israeli, Somalia and Tanzania and assured the diplomats of his government’s commitment to working closely with them to boost cooperation between Kenya and their respective countries.

Kenyatta said that Kenya was keen on promoting the exchange of ideas and nurturing mutual and beneficial partnerships with friendly countries that would contribute to improving the lives of Kenyans.

Elsewhere, Delta and American airlines have banned the shipment of big-game trophies on its flights after the illegal killing of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe.

The airline announced that they would no longer transport lion, rhinoceros, leopard, elephant or buffalo remains.

Delta flies direct to a number of African cities and was subjected to an online petition to ban such shipments.
