Kerich named Nairobi Deputy County Commander in police reshuffle

Buruburu OCPD Richard Kerich Kiplagat has been named the new Nairobi Deputy County Commander in a mini-reshuffle that has affected 64 senior police officers.

Geoffrey Mayek, the Deputy Regional Coordinator for Rift Valley takes over from Kerich as the Buruburu OCPD.

Several other officers have been promoted; Masaba North OCPD Patterson Maelo Nyongesa is now the Mombasa County Commander, Lagdera OCPD Manase Musyoka is now the Garissa County Commander and North Horr OCPD Tom Mboya Odero is now the Kajiado County Commander.

Kericho OCPD Kipkemboi Rop is now the Taita Taveta County Commander.

Former police spokesperson Zipporah Mboroki has also been moved from Police headquarters to OCPD Lari, Kiambu County.

The deployments have all been approved by the Deputy Inspector General of Police Joel Kitili.
