Key changes in IEBC to boost effectiveness and efficiency

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Wednesday announced a number of staff changes and re-organisation in the commission.

In a circular seen by Citizen Digital, Osman Hasssan Ibrahim has been re-designated from director Finance to director Audit, risk and Compliance.

According to the commission’s acting CEO Marjan Hussein Marjan, the changes are part of ongoing transformation aimed at ensuring effectiveness and efficiency in service delivery to the electorates and stakeholders.

In the new changes, the department of Communication and Public Affairs and department of Corporate Affairs and Events has been moved to directorate of Voter Education and Partnerships.

Meanwhile, the department of Boundaries Delimitation has also been moved to Directorate of Research and Development.

In the new changes, Mr. Rasl Ndago Masudi has been re-designated from Director of  voter education and partnerships to Director of voter registration and electoral operations.
