Khalwale calls on DP Ruto to unite with Mudavadi and Wetangula

Ford Kenya deputy party leader Boni Khalwale wants Deputy President William Ruto to join forces with ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula  ahead of the 2022 General Election.

Speaking during a bull fighting event at Malinya village in Ikolomani Constituency, Khalwale said Ruto’s chances of becoming the next president of Kenya will improve greatly if he agrees to work with Mudavadi and Wetangula.

Khalwale insisted that Mudavadi and Wetangula are willing to work with the deputy president in order to help residents of Western Kenya.

“Uhuru’s time in office is coming to an end and the only seats worthy of Ruto’s name are that of the president or the vice president. As you prepare for the journey to  State house Mr. Ruto, you should turn to your neighbours. Nandi is not that far from here,” said Khalwale.

“If you come to us as the presidential candidate of your single party, then rest assured that ANC and Ford Kenya will merge into a single party as well. After this, all three of you will  then be left to decide on who will run for the presidency and who will become the deputy president,’’ said Khalwale.

A section of political leaders have been calling on Mudavadi and Wetangula to consider teaming up with DP Ruto after they severed ties with opposition leader Raila Odinga who joined hands with President Kenyatta.
