Kiambu couple arrested for beating 4yr-old to death

A Kiambu couple from Karuri has been arrested for allegedly beating their four-year-old child to death.

Police identified the suspects as Paul Kariuki and Cecilia Wangui.

The child died while receiving treatment at Tigoni Hospital.

Neighbors said that the couple had been often seen beating up their children.

The duo is in police custody pending further investigations.

And in a similar incident in Kiambaa, a woman is said to have killed her child by brutally beating her up.
