Kiambu MCAs Threaten To Impeach Kabogo
The MCAs want to impeach Kabogo for allegedly failing to relocate Kiambu County headquarters from Thika to Kiambu town as gazetted .
Led by James Njenga, Ngugi Uiru And Karungo Thang’wa, the MCAs are accusing the governor of not honoring a pledge to relocate Kiambu County offices within his first six months in office.
They have further told the county boss to present himself before the Senate to answer audit queries on various projects.
The projects in question according to the MCAs are also being probed by anti graft body EACC.
Kiambu Assembly Majority Leader Chege Wanjiru has however dismissed the claims, accusing her colleagues of playing politics with the county headquarter matter.
