Kibra: Gunshots as Mariga is chased from polling station – VIDEO

Jubilee Party candidate in the Kibra by-election McDonald Mariga was on Thursday afternoon chased out of Mayani polling station by locals.

Mariga, who was touring various polling stations in the area to check on how the voting process was going on, was forced to flee in his vehicle.

Police had to fire in the air though it is not clear what warranted the reaction as the situation did not look that bad.

In a video seen by Citizen Digital, some people can be heard yelling at the retired footballer to leave before gunshots rent the air.
