Kibra MP Ken Okoth on Tuesday rubbished death claims that emerged on social media.

His rebuttal came a day after rumours that the outspoken legislator had succumbed to cancer- which he is receiving treatment for in Europe.

“I’m alive and kicking, Folks should stop killing me before my time with rumours, ” He tweeted.

Parties close to him say that the bubbly legislator is responding well to treatment, urging Kenyans to refrain from peddling rumours about his health.

The MP opened up  about his fight with colorectal cancer earlier this year and remains optimistic that he will win the fight.

In an interview with a local media house, Okoth explained that he was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, an ailment that has changed his life.

Earlier in March, the MP shared a photo after undergoing chemotherapy, saying that the treatment had been tough on him.
