Kicking out Jubilee is the only way to save Kenya Raila

Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) leader Raila Odinga has urged Kenyans to vote the Jubilee government out in 2017 to contain the spate of corruption he says has completely ruined Kenya’s economy.

Touching on the alleged loss of billions of shillings through the National Youth Service (NYS) Saga and the Eurobond Scandal, Raila said that Kenyans should show Jubilee the door in 2017.

The Opposition leader, who was speaking at Orengo Primary School in Bondo Constituency during a fundraiser in aid of women and youth groups from South Sakwa Ward, said that voting Jubilee out was the only way to salvage the coutry’s economy.

“There is this theft called Eurobond, we have a KSh.200 billion debt because of it. For the debt to be settled, the cost of basic goods must go up. That is why we say Jubilee must go,” he said.

The former Prime Minister also faulted the Jubilee leadership for failing to deliver on its campaign pledges, including the class laptop project and 10,000km of tarmac road.

Raila urged Cord supporters to ensure they acquire ID cards and register as voters, adding that much sacrifice is needed to save Kenya from the yoke of corruption and bad leadership.

The occasion was also graced by nominated MP Dr. Oburu Odinga and Siaya MCAs Nicholas Aneme (South Sakwa) and Anastasia Augo (nominated).
