Kiir: I Am Willing To Meet Machar, End Conflict

Kiir spoke when he met President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni on Friday evening for a brief on renewed efforts to end the fighting.

The South Sudan leader expressed his willingness to meet Machar face to face and agree on how to end the vicious five month long fighting that has left thousands dead and millions displaced.

President Kiir was in Nairobi attending the 5th northern corridor integration projects summit also attended by President Paul Kagame of Rwanda.
