Kimunya In Court Over Land Fraud

The former minister was charged alongside two other people over fraud alleged to have been committed in 2005

Kimunya was charged together with Lands Adjudication and Settlement Director, Lillian Njenga and Midlands Chairman Junghae Wainaina

The three appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Peter Ndwiga during the mention of their case.

They are being accused of fraudulently allocating a 25 acre piece of land belonging to the ministry of agriculture to a private developer

The prosecution has however amended the charges to separate the accused persons

According to the prosecution, the three persons are facing different charges relating to the case

The case will be heard again on the 7th October 2014.
