Kisii: Chief found guilty of requesting Ksh.3K bribe fined Ksh.60K

An administrator in Kiogoro, Kisii County, was on Monday arraigned in an anti-corruption court on allegations of requesting a bribe.
The court heard that Kiogoro Location Chief Pamella Zipporah Moriasi requested a bribe of Ksh.3,000.
Ms. Moriasi was found guilty of the crime and fined Ksh.60,000.
Should the chief default in paying the fine, she will serve a one-year jail term.
