Police in Kisii County are on the hunt for a man who severed his wife’s arms following a domestic argument.

Speaking to Citizen Digital from Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital where she was admitted, Ednah Kemuma said she had differences with her husband, Evans Kengere, which prompted her to flee to her parents home.

She narrated that, on the fateful day, she received a call from the accused asking her to come out of her parent’s house so they could iron out their differences.

An argument between the two of them ensued and Kengere set on her with a sharp panga, chopping off her left arm and inflicting serious injuries on her shoulder and right arm in the process.

According to the Kisii County Police Commander Hassan Abdi, the suspect, who hails from Masagege village in Gucha South sub county, is still at large and his whereabouts unknown.
