Kisumu County Officials Arrested over Corruption

Kisumu County Assembly Speaker Anne Adul, Minority Leader Edwin Anayo and County Assembly Clerk Nelco Sagwe were arrested Monday morning on suspicion of engaging in corrupt dealings.

The three are currently being interrogated by EACC detectives before being arraigned in court.

Adul has been on the spotlight after she was reinstated by the court following her second impeachment by the Kisumu County Assembly over claims of abuse of office.
