Kisumu Town West MP Aluoch defects to ODM

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga is set to receive Kisumu Town West parliamentarian Olago Aluoch back into ODM.

Alouch defected from cord affiliate party Ford Kenya party.

Odinga will receive Alouch at a rally in Kisumu organized by ODM deputy party leader Ali Hassan Joho.

ODM is set to raid its CORD affiliate Ford Kenya at a time of heightened talks for registration of cord as a political party and subsequent controversy over whether or not to hold a joint primary for the parties.

Alouch is to rejoin ODM from Ford Kenya after ditching the party in 2013 after a bungled ODM party primaries.

During the 2013 party primaries Aluoch party hopped to Ford Kenya where he secured the Kisumu Town West parliamentary seat trouncing the ODM candidate.

Odinga will receive Alouch in the kisumu public rally organized where he will make a brief appearance at the rally before proceeding to Kampala Uganda alongside Kisumu Senator Professor Anyang’ Nyong’o.

The two are expected to grace the premiere of ‘Queen of Katwe’ movie where Nyong’o’s daughter Lupita Nyong’o is starring in the hollywood movie produced by Walt Disney.

Nonetheless Odinga’s diary begun by attending a thanksgiving church service at the Segero SDA church in Soi constituency in Eldoret, before proceeding to meet farmers and teachers from Uasin Gishu, Cherengany and Marakwet.

Odinga is stepping up tempo in galvanizing support for his candidature ahead of the 2017 elections.
