Kitui: Man stabbed to death over Ksh.100 debt

Police in Mutomo, Kitui County have arrested a man who allegedly stabbed his friend to death over a Ksh.100 debt.

Twala Police Commander Benson Wasike confirmed the incident saying that a quarrel ensued when the deceased had gone to ask for his money resulting into him being stabbed.

The deceased, identified as Maundu Kisenge 30, was reportedly owed Ksh.100 by the suspect. The suspect is said to have stabbed him to death when he (deceased) went to claim his money.

Police arrested the suspect who is scheduled to be arraigned in court.

The body of the victim was taken to Mutomo mortuary.
