KNUT Warns Of Looming Strike

Speaking during the ongoing KNUT delegates conference at Kasarani gymnasium, deputy secretary general Charles Mukwaya said that teachers will be adviced to keep off from classes come January after the government failed to honour a collectove bargianing agreement.

The KNUT delegates are expected approve the strike at the end of the conference on Tuesday, following failure by the government to settle an outstanding pay dispute.

Teachers Service Commission(TSC) CEO Gabriel Lengoiboni has promised improved terms of service for teachers once a collective bargaining agreement is reached between teachers and TSC.
