KQ Boeing 787 Arrives

The Dream liner further enhances Kenya Airways’ capacity to operate inter-continental flights.

This brings to 38 the airlines total number of active flights.

The modern aircraft with state-of-the-art features has a capacity of 234 passengers,

It touched down at the airline’s hub at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport In Nairobi at 10am on Saturday with Captain Harpal Sokhi at the helm.

The new B787 Dream liner joins four other such aircrafts that are already on Kenya airways’ fleet.

The four aircrafts have already commenced commercial service, flying to Paris in France, Guangzhou in China, Bangkok in Thailand, Entebbe in Uganda, and Kinshasa in  the Democratic Republic Of Congo, as well as Mombasa.

Delivery of the B787 Dream liner brings to 38 the airline’s total number of aircrafts in active operations.

Kenya Airways expects one more new B787 Dream liner to join its fleet this year.

Three more such aircrafts will be delivered in 2015.
