KQ Plane From India Runs Low On Fuel

The plane was set to land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport but had to be diverted to Mombasa after it developed a mechanical fault in the fuel control system mid-air. .
Moi International Airport Manager Yatich Kangogo said the plane had departed from Indira Gandhi Airport in Delhi, India and was scheduled to land at JKIA in Nairobi.
The Boeing 737- 700 was due to arrive in Nairobi at 12.20pm.
All the passengers on board the KQ Boeing 737-700 plane are safe.
