KRA Impostor Nabbed By EACC

George Odhiambo is being accused of being a KRA impostor working in Nairobi.

The man was arrested while allegedly soliciting for a bribe of sh200,000 from an unnamed individual while promising to issue him with a certificate of compliance.

According to EACC Spokesman Yassin Amaro, the man was arrested after detectives laid a trap on him using treated money.

The suspect was caught with the money stashed  in his socks.

Amaro said the impostor and other accomplices who are still at large had demanded Ksh 700,000 from the complainant.

Amaro is now urging the public to exercise caution as there are several impostors who are purpoting to work for several public institutions.
