Kutuny: Govt Ready To Work With Nyanza

Speaking at Kisumu social hall, Kutuny said President Kenyatta would tour Nyanza in October 2014 to initiate various development projects, as he warned area youth against being used by politicians to cause chaos.

Kisumu Central MP Ken Obura has at the same time appealed to the government to revive factories that have stalled in the region to create employment to young people.

Devolution and Planning Permanent Secretary Peter Mangiti added that 6.7 million shillings has been disbursed to 32 women groups in the area through the women enterprise fund.
