Laikipia Leaders: CORD Wants To Destabilize Gov’t

Laikipia Governor Joshua Irungu, Senator GG Kariuki, Laikipia East Mp Anthony Mutahi and former assistant minister Mwangi Kiunjuri accused CORD leaders of not being genuine in their push.

The laikipia leaders asked those pushing for a national referendum to give the government time to deliver pledges it has made to Kenyans.

This, as Laikipia Governor Joshua Irungu distanced himself from governors’ council referendum push, saying it is time to focus on addressing key issues affecting Kenyans.
