Laikipia Nature Conservancy owner Kuki Gallman shot
Laikipia Nature Conservancy owner, Kuki Gallman, has been shot and injured by bandits.
According to a police source, Gallman was attacked at her farm in Kuti area by the raiders.
The rancher, who sustained several bullet wounds, has been airlifted to Nairobi for treatment.
Gallman is the second rancher to be attacked by raiders in Laikipia after another farm owner Tristan Voorspuy was killed by raiders last month.
On March 30 bandits attacked Gallman’s lodge and set several vehicles ablaze.
The attack occurred despite presence of Kenya Defence Forces troops and police deployed to flush out armed raiders who invaded ranches last year.
