Laikipia sleuths probe murder of woman found in bedroom with throat slit

Detectives in Laikipia Central are investigating the murder of a 43-year-old woman whose body was discovered in her bedroom at Hotline village, Ngobit.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the body was found on the floor on Wednesday morning lying in a pool of blood with a deep cut on the neck.

“A bloodstained knife was also found next to the deceased who resided next to Hotline Pub where she has been working as a bar attendant,” the DCI said.

Detectives probing into the case are said to be working towards establishing the motive behind the killing while capitalizing on all possible leads to the perpetrator (s).

The DCI is urging anyone with information that may assist in the investigation to call the hotline 0800 722 203.
