Lamu: KDF soldier found dead in bush

A Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldier was on Sunday found dead in a bush under unclear circumstances at Hindi area in Lamu County.

Sources who spoke to Citizen Digital  said the soldier, before his death, was spotted running by the roadside while taking off his KDF attire and boots.

Confirming the incident, Hindi MCA Anab Hajj said the deceased hung his pants on a tree in the bush where his body was found.

The body of the deceased has since been taken by his fellow KDF soldiers pending autopsy before it is transferred to his home for burial.
