Lang’ata road accident survivor’s medical bill shoots to Ksh 6m

Nearly a month since five people were killed in a matatu accident along Lang’ata road, one of the survivors is still admitted in hospital where the medical bill has risen to more than 6 million shillings. Doctors have also amputated Lilian Mwikali’s leg. And as Patrick Igunza reports, Mwikali’s pain mirrors those of thousands of Kenyans who are injured in accidents every year.
