Leave MCAs alone, Ranguma told

Kisumu County Governor Jack Ranguma as been asked to respect the Kisumu County Assembly and the current sitting MCAs, and not meddle in their activities.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, Seme North ward representative, James Okoth Diang’a, said Ranguma must respect the activities of the county assembly and not apply the divide and rule tactics that will derail the assembly.

“Ranguma has now embarked on some dubious means of discriminating and even dividing MCAs, more so those who do not support his leadership,” said Dianga

He also said that Ranguma has always influenced a number of MCAs to pass the Bills that are “harmful” to the citizens. He further warned the governor and his affiliate MCAs against tempering with the current county budget

“The current 2016/2017 budget for Kisumu County must not be tampered with by anybody, Ranguma included, for proper development to be felt across the county and the nation at large,” said Dianga

This comes after Kisumu County Governor Jack Ranguma was accused by a section of MCAs of interfering with the activities of the Kisumu County Assembly.
