LGs UHD TV re-defines television veiwership

South Korean based multinational company LG electronics has launched a new TV in the Kenyan market, aside from the already existing models of the corporation.

The TV, branded as LG 4K OLED, is purposed in giving an ultra-high definition and clarity of pictures, as compared to the previous models released by the same company.

Speaking during the launch of the 4K OLED TVs in Kenya, the General Marketing Manager of LG Electronics Moses Marji, said the TV was designed to show LG’s commitment to ensuring continuous innovation for their consumers.

“Our introduction of the 4K OLED TVs to Kenyan consumers is a clear demonstration of our commitment to continuous innovation, to achieve a good user experience with our inventions,” said Marji.

According to Marji, the model would cost a consumer between Ksh. 500, 000 and Ksh.800, 000, a price he considers cheap for the nature of the product.

“OLED allows consumers to have good TV motion pictures and is, in fact, the pinnacle of technology across the world, I am sure it will change the dynamic of television viewing in the market,” said Marji.

The 4K OLED TV was previously launched in 2013 but was introduced into  the Kenyan market in 2016.
