Lobby group offers two goats to Uhuru, Ruto for hosting Obama

Maendeleo Ya Wanaume Organisation( MYW) has offered two he-goats to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto as a congratulatory token for hosting US President Barrack Obama last week.

Speaking to the press, the organisation’s chairman, Nderitu Njoka, and its treasurer Daniel Wando said that Uhuru and Ruto deserve to enjoy the two goats black and white goats nicknamed Beat and Beetle respectively with their families nick named.

The two goats are worth an estimated Sh60,000.

According to the chairman, the names Beast and Beetle are synonymous with Obama’s upbringing and current status.

He said the goats were named Beast and Beetle to motivate people and hence the need to appreciate the two leaders for the hospitality they extended to Obama.

During his speech at the Kasarani Gymnasium, President Obama narrated how he was picked from by his sister Auma Obama from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on an old Volkswagen Beetle that he says broke down at least five times during his stay in the country.

The Beast is the infamous official car for the US president.
