LSK Seeks Permission To Prosecute Strippers
The permission is being sought from the Director of Public prosecutions Keriako Tobiko
LSK Chairman Eric Mutua says the National Police Service Commission should form a special unit to patrol areas where the crimes are likely to occur.
In a statement, Mutua said the LSK as a professional body should be allowed by the office of the DPP to prosecute people committing the offence
Mutua added that any member of the public has a civil duty to arrest any person who commits or is likely to commit an offence in public.
The move by LSK comes days after several women were stripped for allegedly being indecent
The video of the stripped women have gone viral on social media platforms forming a topic of discussion with the hash tag #MyDressMyChoice.
