Luanda MP Christopher Omulele survives appeal case
The Court of Appeal has upheld the election of Christoper Omulele as Member of Parliament for Luanda.
Apungu Arthur Kibira, the appellant has been ordered to pay costs.
The judges dismissed the case on a technicality saying both the record of appeal and notice of appeal were filed in Kakamega instead of the Kisumu High Court.
They further noted that the case was filed yet again in Kisumu.
Two of the three judges agreed that the appeal was not filed at the appropriate time while one judge dissented.
