Maasai council of elders condemn Mau Narok insecurity
The Maasai council of elders have condemned an attack at Mau Narok in Njoro Constituency that left two people injured.
It is suspected that Maasai morans were behind the incident.
The two were admitted to the Provincial General Hospital Nakuru where they are currently undergoing treatment.
Kasaine ole Lesho, the Maasai council of elders chairman in Narok county said:
“These incidences do not conform with the traditions of the community,” ole Lesho said.
Claims that morans are causing tension in Mau Narok emerged days after 10 sheep were stolen and one person from a different community killed.
